    Hard Drive cooling question

    The bottom and sides are annodized aluminum. They conduct heat much better than the stamped steel cover. Any contact between the aluminum and the computer case is a big help in conducting heat away from the hard drive. Bozo :joker:

    The system has run for 12 hours running F@H SMP. I think I'm beginning to like Gigabyte motherboards. I'm amazed! I have never had a CPU overclock like this before. I would post the CPU-Z results if I knew how. Bozo :joker:

    At work we have 28 computers on their own network. No DNS server, each computer has it's own permanent address. This network is NOT connected to the outside world. About half of the computers have had the Computer Browser service turned off. The rest become the Master Browser or Backup Browser...

    One thing I have noticed about the CFL lamps that I have installed: the ones that hang from the ceiling ( with the curly glass hanging down) don't last very long. The plastic around the glass turns brown and melts, then the light stops operating. But, I just call the 800 number on the lamp...
