State of the Union: August 2005

I agree with JTR on this one. GWB is a massive idiot and is screwing the country at a time when we could really use some solid leadership. But the reason we're having to deal with him again is that the Dems provided no worthy competiton. Combine that with the fact that the majority of Americans...

    Holy Hurricane, Batman!

Just because people have done it doesn't make it a good idea. Why do you think people who live in submarines are nervous? It's a stupid idea, everyone should have a class in potential energy and why you've given gravity permission to pwn your house.

Just finnished my birthday party. Yay. I'm not old enough to look back at my life and wonder what I've done with it (though I'm sure that's coming), I am however old enough to look at my life now and wonder why I haven't managed to make anything of it yet. Fuck it. Going to sleep.

    Buying a projector

Well, I ended up getting the Sharp XR-20X and am incredibly happy with it. Let me brag with the specs: 2300 Lumens 1024x768 Dual VGA input (also supports composite, S-Video, whatever) Digital Keystone "Cool&Quiet mode" - 2000 Lumens at half the volume with 50% more bulb life. I love it, now I...

Thanks for the feedback guys. If I can swing it, that BenQ PB8220 looks great. I doubt that 1024x768 will suffer that badly over a 20' VGA cable.

The trick to not pissing everyone off is in the subtlety. It's imperative to find the correct balance so that if she's looking for something, she sees it, but if she isn't interested, she doesn't notice. The best one is if you note someone looking at you when glancing around a room, instead of...

I think the trick is to stay in practice. 80% of my friends (4 of 5) are female. And I at least make an opening pass on every (seemingly) single, moderatly attractive person I meet in a social environment. I'm a fairly anti-social person, if I didn't make myself, I wouldn't do it at all...

Good thoughts Will, but the MIME for EXE is already there by default. I've also gone in and enabled all the default extensions. Though the content isn't dynamic, it's an html file with a direct link to the file in question, and I've verified that the file is there. Any more ideas?
