Why capital punishments is required for cop killers

They've solved this by simply sending the people back to India and outsourcing their old jobs to them. Costs less than half as much, and you don't have to work around the immigration crap.

Good Idea/Bad Idea: 7-in-1 USB Media Drive

Sure, I *can* leave the media in the camera and hook up its USB cable; but that runs down the camera's batteries, is a bit ackward, and is a bit unwieldy when trying to read the photos in from four cards after you vacation. It's also nice to have a reader for media that I don't immediately own.

Maybe if you hired citizens of the United States instead of migrant non-citizen workers (legal or otherwise), you wouldn't have these issues.

Matrox P 650 hardware support for DVD playing...

Nope. Virtually all DVD players support hardware acceleration with ATi cards -- or anyone else's, for that matter. As I recall MPEG decode is now part of DirectX, making it extremely accessible.

Good Idea/Bad Idea: 7-in-1 USB Media Drive

Since it'll rarely be in use, I don't see this as much of an issue. If I use it on the desktop, there might be some trouble, but only temporarily so.

Good Idea/Bad Idea: 7-in-1 USB Media Drive

So, the new laptop doesn't come with a floppy drive, which isn't a big deal. However, I know that, sooner or later, I will want to use one; so, I have been looking at USB drives. I was also looking at getting a device to read the SmartMedia cards from my digital camera. It was pointed out to...

    Should Rumsfeld keep his job?

I'd like to point out that France is, in fact, Britain's fault. If England hadn't spent hundreds of years trying to conquer the country, the power of the king would not have been consolidated nearly so quickly. Trust me. All modern issues can be linked to Britain. It's kind of like a nasty...

    Raptors really worth it?

If you want a high-tech doorstop, I'd say that it might be a good choice. I wouldn't use a Western Digital drive to wipe my nose, even if it didn't hurt to so do. Your drive is a bit old, but lots of things can make a system seem "pokey."
