Well, if you can shift-click with just the mouse, a lot more activities might be entirely mouse-based. Just because you can't conceive of these tasks doesn't mean that the entire thing has no value.

The ability to shift+click with just the mouse is invaluable.

I'm not a fan of the extraneous buttons, but I can't really live without a thumb button. It's terrible sitting down at a machine and not having that thumb button bound to the shift key.

What's crazy is that people don't get this. For the grant shendig, our laptop processor options happen to be 620m, 540m, and 520m. The IT guy is so confused why we would rather have SSDs than the 620m.

All NT-based OSes keep the time in software after startup. Have you looked at the date and time control panel to see what server it's using? Alternately, you can use net time through a console, but I'm pretty rusty on some of the appropriate commands.

Unfortunately, I only wanted one. Any time that I've needed to get more than three drives at once, someone else was ordering. And I doubt we'd be ordering from Newegg for that, anyhow.

Based on talking to others, I'd suggest going with Cisco, as well. Their system is fully baked, and the company is here for the long term. Frankly, this doesn't sound like something you want to homebrew.

There's supposed to be a three-tuner version of the HDHomerun coming out later in the year which will accept Cablecraps.

VMware also supports 3d acceleration, but I expect that there is no support for non-NT-based Windows OSes, as well.

I'd suggest disputing with the credit card. That's plenty of pain for these guys.
