    FYI, IIRC, there are currently no (public) plans for low-voltage mobile versions of these chipsets, so if you get a laptop with these, I wouldn't expect stellar battery life.

    Not at all. My wife refused to update to Win10 (I downgraded her laptop from Win8 to Win7 when we got it), and the kids laptops are still on Win7 as well (all downgraded from Win8.1 to Win7 when we got them).
