Has anyone used a Matrox video card recently? Years ago I had one and the video quality was great. Matrox has cards for under $300.00 but I was wondering if their graphics was still top notch. (not for gaming) Most of their cards have no cooling fans. Quiet!

I have a Supermicro mobile rack similar to this. It came with connectors so each of the five hard drives could have a led come on whenever the drive was active. My motherboard only has one hard drive led connector. Does anyone have any idea how I could get all five leds to work, independently.

One of the most aggravating things to me is that the BIOS changes the boot order if you change any hardware. IE: if you set up the BIOS to boot the CD and then the hard drive, if you change the hard drive, the BIOS wants to boot from it first. Does the new Intel "BIOS" have this same bug?

I presume that NVidea is the brand to have, but what flavor. Something cheap would be preferred.

How do you know if Trim is working? Is there a way to run Trim manually? What I would like to do is have trim run once a week at 3AM, but I have yet to find a way to do this. Spending time on Google just confuses me more.
