    Wow, apparently there is a bit of a price difference. Nexus $399 us and S3 $799 preorder, both are for the 16gb unlocked version. Likely to come down after it is released? If I am reading this right the S3 won't be able to do T-Mobile's 3G network, hope I have that wrong.

    I find the cited gas mileage at the speeds and hills mentioned pretty impressive. I generally only see 25MPG overall in my car and it can range as high as 31MPG drifting along back roads or down to 14MPG or less when driving horribly. Is the mustang V6 a direct injected one yet?

    You don't have to reboot. When mine triggers a relearn and discharges the battery the log files show that the battery is below threshold disabling cache and it comes right back after it is above threshold. Would just be silly if it required a reboot of an enterprise box. My servers off right now...

    What the heck, I'd do a backup first and give the upgrades a shot. Nothing to lose and it would put you in compliance. If not then you can make it known that the machine is there and needs access so an exception must be made or monies must be freed up to get the thing updated properly...

    I don't think i have done anything other than tell player to install the tools on the guest os. At that time it just attaches what I think I remember is a cdrom as far as the guest can tell that has the tools on it, which autoruns to launch the tools installer.

    Apple doesn't allow any carrier customization at all. Most carriers have free apps that you can download and you are free to delete, nothing is forced on the user from the carrier. Not even a carrier logo on the phone. The only angle I can figure why carriers don't like rooted/jailbroken...

    The connection I got was that when a certain amount of success is met the handset manufacturer has leverage and can start pleasing the end user customer instead of the carrier customer. Therefore the carriers are actively seeking to lock down the flexibility of the devices sold.

    It doesn't appear that keystroke combination works. I'm aware that there are other keystrokes to switch just a USB or just the sounds or not switch them but I generally don't use them. After some time with it, the problem with my work computer showed up again. The same workarounds still work...
