Diablo turns out to be a decent popcorn game when multiplayer with friends. That is you can have one hand in the popcorn, talking to friends over teamspeak and doing almost everything in game with the mouse. It's a tourist game basically and the training wheels are stuck on.

Well seems like the 30 day trial of ghost won't actually do anything without being registered and the intel version of arconis doesn't like whatever apple does with hard drives. Guess I will look into other options.

I have to admit I'm pretty interested in this and I'm glad to see them taking control of the hardware, i think microsoft makes some really good hardware. The announcement timing is obvious because of other events surrounding but it still seems a little bit early. Not a great time to be a PC...

I have the drive and it shipped with current firmware. Downloaded ghost from samsungs support site (right next to the 830 firmware) and that is asking for a registration key that wasn't included. Guess all you get is the ghost 30 day trial.

His site doesn't interest me very much and I tend to only go over there when I am looking to buy something. At the same time OCZ is not a company I would even consider getting a product from so I would avoid those reviews anyway.

In the article I linked above for the Intel 520 he was pretty clear that there is some sort of a problem with that chipset and it is only Intel's work that is saving them. That doesn't exactly sound like a ringing endorsement of sandforce to me.
