Video question

I'm looking to purchsae an Intel motherboard with the 915 chipset. Intel spec says it has a PCI-E x16 video port.

Would a regular PCI video card work in slot?

Nope. Regular PCI is parallel technology, PCI-E is serial.

In the PCI-E slot? Certainly not. The connectors are different.

I'm sure that the motherboard has at least one regular PCI slot that could be used....
