I need to gain 5 inches. (It's not really for me, but a woman. :) )
I don't what to buy or where, but figure the base should be no more than 10x15" with a good amount of friction on both sides.
We need to travel by air and carry it around, so the weight should be low. Any ideas? Thanks.

5'4" is not enough. She needs a small device to be the equivalent of 5'9".

Well, I prefer something more sophisticated like an engineering resin. The two load bearing surfaces need to be be sticky enough for concrete, steel or aluminum plate, or epoxy.

What is that supposed to mean? :(
Now the same situation has occurred five years later. Somehow I forgot to post about the solution the first time.
