All this gear has been well cared for and is as new.
  • P4 2.4C. does 3.2 @ 1.55v. Can't tell how high this CPU clocks as I've never pushed it any harder. Core temps have never been over 40C. Comes boxed, with unused Intel HSF.
    - Purchased one month ago (17/6/03)
    - Reason for sale: upgraded to faster CPU
    - Reserve: AU$260
    - Current highest bid:
  • 1GB (2 x 512MB) OCZ Basic Series DDR400. Black heat spreaders. SPD timings are 2.5-4-4 however I have successfully run this RAM at 2-3-3-6/210MHz on my Asus P4P800 and 2-3-3-6/200MHz on my Soltek nForce2 mobo. at 210Mhz on the nForce2 I had to change timings to 2-3-3-7. Highest speed tested was 217MHz at 2.5-3-4-7 timings on nForce2 board. May go higher but the Athlon wouldn't. Always run in dual channel setup. Note: RAM has never had more than 2.65V through it, and only then it was for short time, when benchmarking.

I've only just got the system up and running and have set the FSB:Mem ratio to 5:4. timimgs are 2-2-2-5 @ 2.55V. I'm waiting for the Shin-Etsu thermal paste to cure before I start pushing limits. when everything is settled in properly, the plan is to up the FSB:Mem ratio to 1:1 and run this RAM at 2.5-4-4-8 @ 250MHz with 2.65-2.75V. if I'm lucky I can go higher again.
