As a side note... "SATA II" is the name of the group that makes the standards, not the standards themselves....

The group is now called "SATA-IO" for SATA International Organization. The gold standard is now SATA 2.5.

There was too much confusion over SATA extensions and SATA II so the name got changed again :)
