Hi all,

I'm looking for a device that will auto-switch multiple optical audio inputs when they become active. I've found a few manual switches on the web but what I'm after is one that will auto-switch between two or more sources with one input being a "master" input in that it will always be passed through when active. Does anyone know of such a thing and can point me to it?

Thanks

Now all he needs is a computer that outputs its external audio through an optical or coax connection.

Exactly like that. Thanks! I must embarrassingly confess that Audio Authority was the second mob I went to when searching for a switch. Obviously managed to miss it somehow...

The new HTPC I'm building will have an Audigy 2 Value which sports an SPDIF output. I toyed with using my main PC's Abit IC7-G as it has dual optical in/out but it's size ruled out it's suitability.
