Image viewing tool?

I'm after an image viewing application that will automatically display the most recent image that is saved into a directory, and will automatically update when a new image is saved. A full screen hot folder preview if you will. Is there such a tool?

I've tried the "Sync to Folder" option in ACDSee 7, but it doesn't appear to do anything.

Sounds like a job for a tiny bit of php or perl, actually.

Would you want something that uses a web browser in full screen mode? I could write you the script in PHP that will look for the newest image. The web page would refresh itself every "n" minutes. Whenever it finds a new image, it will be displayed after the refresh.

I'll also take a look into php GTK+ and see if there is a way to write it as an application.

Sounds good Doug. It would need to refresh once per second, we deal with two images every six seconds.
