I was searching on google but all i could find were things that monitored downtime more than up time (ex: 99.99% uptime kind of things) and all I wanted was a simple screen that told me how long it was since last booting.
PW, SpectraLinux is made by a company I'm very familiar with .
I like it because it's based on RedHat (the distro I'm most familiar with, and like the best) but it also includes updated versions of a large part of the programs. So when I install SL, I don't have to download 500megs of stuff as the first thing (that's what I usually do with RH, I run the up2date program to get the latest and safest versions of the programs).
There's also the additional CDs, one with third party programs and another with office.
We've got people here that have made Finnish distros earlier, so it was an easy step to make a new distro for our purposes (development and servers...)
