I think this is a really good price, for this drive. But then, as time progresses, HD prices keep going down... The question becomes, how low can they go

Since that was posted on digg.com about five hours ago, it's safe to say they're sold out by now.

I agree that's a fantastic price for a drive of that capacity. Hopefully we'll see 400GB drives in the $100 range in another few months.

For anyone that ordered a retail Seagate drive (That includes $25 for the 400GB drive) between 4/1 and 6/30 there is a rebate:

Net Cost for the 400GB 16MB buffer ATA drive is $109 - $25 = $84

Except the rebate is only supposed to be for people who went on the Active Storage Tour. However, for the price of a stamp I did send in the rebate, but I don't think I'll get it.
