I am omnipresent
I was thinking "Wow!" for about 5/8th of a second, until I remember that Celerons are still on a 533MHz bus...

What's the point of making a Celeri with more cache than a P4? 533MHz FSB or not, at 3.2GHz and with a lot of fast L2 cache, it would still be a very potent performer. The Celeron brand insures that it should be relatively affordable too. And with only 26W of thermal dissipation, it becomes a very serious contender for general purpose office boxes and other low noise systems.

When is it supposed to be released?

And it has CPUID and TDP of Coppermine Celeron II...

Probably just an inside joke, especially since there is no SSpec for the PIV EE in the Processor Spec Finder.

Cheers,

The page is gone...

Guess it was either an inside joke as mentioned above, or released before it should have been.

Would have been cool to see such a chip! Doesn't seem a logical thing for Intel to do though.

It would give AMD fits though. Hmmm...
