Love this thread. Just had to reinstall everything on my 7900, and this helped a TON.

That 100% was on my Panasonic CF-53A, which I was using while the 7900X3D was in the shop. Somehow, my operating system was corrupted, and I couldn't even reload Windows 11. Never happened with 10.

:) Chrome sucks on the laptop, compared to Firefox. Freezes, because it uses all the CPU. Firefox, not even close. FF is using 40% of the memory right now, and about 3-6% of the cpu.

Anyway to speed Firefox up?

Firefox runs with a LOT less CPU then Chrome. 16% with a show running and this window open. Chrome would be over 80% with the same running. WHY?

Learning this trackball mouse really needs a second, vertical/normal mouse as a backup. It can get frustrating, but being able to use a normal mouse with my right hand solves a lot of the frustration, and there is PLENTY.

Mercutio: Do you have a place to buy used components, for great prices?

Have two Elecom mice up and working, left and right hands. the right is the Xlg, and fits my hand very well. The large doesn't fit as well, but allows me to put the razer mouse away.

I did. For the one I just bought, it was 3.00 cheaper. Also bought a large, wired, left handed backup mouse to replace the one I'm going to have to trash, that wasn't wired, or dongled. I kind of learned a lesson. Elecom appears to have stopped making Extra Large left handed vertical mice. I'm...

This looks like the one: Big, wider then any I've used, and I hope it's up to Mercutio's standards. Price at 41.00 is right, too. Aren't a lot of choices for left handed. This is it, pretty much.

This looks intresting, but more complicated then I'm after:

Elecom makes a left handed track ball version for a reasonable price, 40.00 Kensington was the trackball I used with the macs, but the same design, or near it, is now 110.00.

Got the right hand version of the Elecom working, and installed the software. Left handed doesn't have a dongle, and won't work with Bluetooth on it's own. This is the third computer I've tried it on, so it maybe trash time.

Periexx looks pretty good, and the price is reasonable.

Elecom looks a LOT like the Logitech vertical mouse, for 29.00. Plus, they make BIG, XL mice. The Logitech M575 might be worth a look... Ergo S is 120.00? Are they on Fentanyl?
