ESS sound cards. 10 bucks and they work in 2000

ESS ISA cards have impressed me too in recent times. Windows XP does a fine job of loading ESS drivers and running that little card. But, as others have mentioned, with the advent of onboard sound, add-in sound cards for the average user have gone away.

    Who's a Daddy? Who's a Daddy?

San Francisco: a city with extra-ordinary people. For your daughter and son-in-law, I wish the best. Law school is nice, but being witness to, and enjoying the life of a newborn is unimaginable (hectic & enjoyable). I certainly hope that grandfather Flagreen and Uncle Koggit have the pleasure...

Ooops, thinking out loud again. So Flagreen, if you may answer, where does this beautiful new addition to our planet reside in California?

    Who's a Daddy? Who's a Daddy?

How unusual. It's rare that people (especially in California) name their child Owen. Let's see, with a name like Owen, you could end up with initials like ONO, or OHM.

    Sold on Dual CPUs?

I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but I was running MP processors. In addition, I was not overclocking. I wonder if overclocking is making your AGP card hotter, thus reflecting off of the CPU?

    Anyone want a geo tracker?

I had a pastel lime-green couch in my house at one time. It was round, with nicely matching red pillows. It went well with the red shag carpet, red curtains, and black and white striped couch. That was 25 years ago, but it was in style (not that I am anymore), but that Geo owner is attempting...

hehehe - No, I don't like sleeping on rocks and I didn't. I slept inside the tent with an air matress and my sleeping bag. The terrain may seem really rocky, but it wasn't. The rocks just end up there because that area had been used plenty of times before us as a camp site. People will get...

    Platinum Edition Motherboard from Soyo
