    The Space Simulator Cluster

Good question Adcadet. It might be that misleading subconscious belief that Intel CPUs always run cooler. It couldn't be for the best in stability, because the chipset used is from SIS. :D

    Do I need more RAM?

The Peak Commit Charge is the peak you've reached at some point. It is too close to your physical RAM capacity. Call Dell about that memory upgrade. Sometimes they allow a technician to perform minor upgrades without voiding the warranty. I know I've done this on Dell Desktop systems. (The...

True, this is only the 85th fastest computer in the world, but as a cluster, it is very impressive. Imagine the F@H performance we could get? (True Athlon CPUs would be better.) The Space Simulator Cluster

    Do I need more RAM?

Adcadet, It sounds like you need more RAM. Check your Physical Memory availability is a good start. On the same Performance tab in Task Manager, check your commit charge Peak and let us know what that is. But as it sounds, you'll need more memory anyway. BR

AMD makes .13 micron CPUs starting at the 1700+ rating. Thus, Mercutio should be able to get an XP2100+ Thoroughbred core CPU and enjoy some of that .13 coolness.

The Batender told me that we can get TP from THG to give Dïscfärm a drive home. We don't care if Dïscfärm pukes, and TP will have someone (albeit passed out) to talk to that won't talk back.

Those items seem to be the key to success 99% of the time. Low-end vomit boxes always skimp on RAM and use integrated video (the worst coming from VIA and ALI). You can always work with your customer by selling your hardware at cost, and charge labor instead. This will reduce the sales tax...

    eBooks & eLibraries

I find reading from a monitor difficult. The printed page is much easier on my eyes. I even go through great lengths to adjust monitor resolution, contrast, brightness, refresh rates, and ambient light to make reading from a computer easier, but I still find it tiresome.

That Silvereye is a beautiful bird. The color and markings are fantastic and should make the bird easier to spot, as its size is quite small. In the area that I live, our main source of insectivorous birds is migratory (present from March until October) cliff swallows. Swallows rely on...

    [BUY.com] - WD 9.1 GB enterprise U-160 SCSI $34 new

That is a small nest for even one Cuckoo-shrike. How large are the eggs? I'm expecting that the photograph in the article that I linked to is an enlargement (I sure hope so for the sake of the mother) of the real size. Living in such an arid climate as you do, I'd imagine that food would be...

I've thought of that too Tannin, but it is a huge task. We would need to establish some guidelines based on the consensus of our fellow members. Personally, I think the layout of our present forum is good, we could just change a few of the colors.

Although I'm not particularly fond of our present color scheme, the ones listed by Tannin as "Best" don't strike me as being any better. Vereor Lord of the Rings has too much green, or at least some of the wrong shades of green.
