This is the monitor you should get in the 24" range, or the similar one without SV if you don't want it.

For some unknown reason standby does not work correctly on my system. It works for a short period, maybe a few minutes to an hour, but does not recover from standby if let in that state overnight.

Oh man, the killer quotes. The filters don't work on them.

Just one of my computers uses about 200W, so it is a huge power waster and creates unwanted heat.

That is why I like the WD Green drives. They are very cool and quiet. My old Hitachi 1TB drives need good ventilation.

I can see the files on the disc, but they are VRO and I can't burn them to a video DVD. :( I suppose there is conversion software for sale somewhere, but it is not worth the hassle.

It may be too late. Cropping does not substitute for positioning at the time. The image suffers from bad light, so there is not much to be done. Come back when the weather is better and be more selective in composition.

The image is very shaky. Shoot at f/8 and use a better tripod.

2TB drives are the higher end of consumer hard drive lines and priced accordingly, regardless of RPM.
