I though maybe you were compiling a gazillion lines of code or running queries on a massive db all day. It doesn't seem like you need any special hardware beyond a discrete graphics card.
Any that have a current ICH and support SATA 3Gbs would be in that category. Wimpy CPUs and other factors can limit useful system performance before the ICH though. What is the notebook used for?
So somebody is claiming that corn was never natural? :mrgrn: Of course it has DNA not so unlike other plants. Given the early usage for food, corn probably spread with humans and perhaps was hybridized long ago. Does it really matter other than as a curiosity?
My current case is an old beige Antec that looks much like the one shown. The two aspects I was hoping to improve upon were the fans and hard drive placement. I figured that a single 120 mm rear fan is better and quieter than the 2x80 mm fan configuration. The...

I don't think so, at least not with Windows itself.
The base 2 convention is not idiotic; it is perfectly natural for digital systems. OTOH, base 10 is an ancient holdover from the 5-fingered x 2-handed primates.
I tried to use the new Eizo with my work notebook and it looks awful on a VGA connector. :bigeek: At work I have an olden 19" LCD with bleh colors, but it has the nice squarish display ratio and the image is sharp.
