Now I find it does not work on either of two computers. Well at least the UPS should run for an hour with the external battery; not that I will know when it will die off (suddenly).

You guys are wild and crazy in those places. The elevated parking lots I have seen in the US have large tire stops, cables or concrete barriers to stop cars from driving off the edge under normal circumstances. You'd have to be driving like a complete maniac in the parking lot or deliberately...

If you stopped buying OCZ and SSDs constantly you could get that thing fixed in a few months. :D Seriously though, I've been in many places and I know that averages don't correlate to particular weeks, months and years. I'm glad that you can handle it, but everyone does not like periods of...

After looking at a bunch of reviews I'm less than thrilled with the newer replacement models. Most of the $150-200 units are worse than previous models or have issues with certain devices and that the commercial types are very expensive and too heavy for me. I'm thinking about going more old...

SSDs - State of the Product?

Approved may mean something different than original and unopened. It is more likely that the ripoff occurred somewhere in the supply chain rather than in China (or wherever the drives are manufactured) or the packaging is not genuine. Do we know which container integrity and...

I have no idea what you do for work and what is acceptable. At some places it is only possible to use a certain USB thumb drive supplied by the IT. Other devices don't work for security reasons. I'm not sure how it is controlled, maybe with software?
