What do you mean it didn't work? The software didn't run, or you couldn't get it to do what you wanted?

If you simply want to to be "out of the box" again and don't care about losing the data on it, just use the Sanitary Erase program OCZ has posted. Guide Note, you should only run this on OCZ Indilinx based drives.

HDMI and DVI have all the same signals (excluding the analogs signal used in DVI-A or the second set of TMDS pairs in dual link DVI) so yeah, it's just a matter of getting a cable (assuming it's not a high res monitor that needs dual link DVI).

That depends how much you value your data. I don't know what you would want to use .flac files in a phone though. They're too big and you're not likely to be listening in an environment where you can discern the difference.

As long as they don't need them in a 1U chassis it shouldn't be too much of a challenge.
