That is very cool. I like how they moved the camera between exposures to achieve the fluid movement when sped up.

It's just a structural protection. They have multiple references to the same sectors on the disc so it seems to have much more data than fits.

$1500 of the $5k is from Audi. That means that you have to qualify to get the $1500 from Audi. Otherwise you will only get a $3.5k discount from the dealer which means they're still making money on the car (though not much).

The answer is in the fine print. "Prices require Audi Loyalty eligibility". That's $1500 of the $5k right there. So, unless you already own or lease a 2001 or newer Audi you can't get the full $5k.

They must have either marked up the MSRP or they're willing to lose money because there isn't $5k in profit on a 2012 S4 with any sane optioning.

I recall reading that Windows 7 doesn't install the drivers for things that aren't in your system to make it start faster but as a results it's more problematic to swap hardware from like a single processor to multi processor system, etc...

Car and Driver posted a few thoughts on the refreshed 2013 (US) S4. Interestingly in Europe they're selling a detuned version of the same supercharged 3.0L engine in the A4.

I'd agree it's not terribly intuitive at first. However, most owners seem to say you get used to it pretty quickly and it becomes 2nd nature.

That will never get sold in the US for 2 or 3 reasons. 1) It's an Avant/wagon 2) No 6MT 3) It's got the 4.2L V-8 carbon build up special engine that's down on power compared to it's competitors

In theory LED bulbs should have no issues being switched off and on. The GE CFL's I've been using have been pretty good. I've only had a few fail in the past 6+ years.

If you think you can tell the difference between a well encoded MP3 or AAC file and a lossless WMA in your car you're delusional. I'd also be surprised if your car will play lossless WMA files. Most things that play WMA files wont play them.

Uh... If you're going to do lossless use EAC + FLAC. I can't fathom why you'd use a proprietary closed format like WMA.

I'd suggest you calibrate your monitor. That is not even close to being orange.

Tilt and Shift my eye. That's all post processing in After Effects (or a similar program) and not a very good job of it at that.

It's not a rendering. How do you know it's more of a burnt orange than a red? You don't even know what color it is. It could be Volcano Red or Misano Red Pearl Effect.

The 4.2L V8 in the last 2 gen S4's and B7 RS4 have this issue to a severe degree. The supercharged 3.0L V6 is reportedly much better. However, you should probably still do something like a BG 44K + BG ISC every 15k miles or so. Video demonstration
