St. Charles... I don't think I've ever seen a road as screwed up as IL64. Major intersections where the lights are out and small non-obvious stop signs off to the side. Minor intersections where there's a working light. What the heck...
Any suggestions for a fireworks shop? It looks like...
I made the mistake of driving to a burb of Chicago today. What's with all the crappy toll roads that are under construction with a 45MPH construction speed limit (55MPH speed limit regularly). I spent $6 on tolls. :cursin:
The only plus about this trip is going to be stopping at a few...
I usually only ride once a week with the wife. We'll go on either Saturday or Sunday depending on our plans and the weather. She's out of town this weekend so I did two loops at the park instead of the one plus circling waiting for her to catch up. That usually is more like 12miles in 50-55...
I did 18 miles this morning in just under 70 minutes including cool down. Not too shabby for a guy on a dual suspension mountain bike with slicks if I say so myself.
I think both the customers and dealer have brought it on themselves. Thanks to the internet the average customer has too much information about the dealer "cost" and wants to squeeze every dime out out of the dealer by getting the car below invoice. The dealer in turn makes their money up on...
Probably not, but ball seat and cone seat lugs are incompatible with each other in terms of properly holding a wheel when torqued down. I'd put 5 of the cone seat variety in a bag / pouch with the spare for next time.
How big was this screw?
Did you remember to put 5 ball seat lugs with your spare since the conical lugs for the Forgestar aren't appropriate to use with it?
Well reportedly Audi invoices the dealer a per car amount for the amount of regional advertising Audi corporate does in that market / area. So, it's not the dealer spending the money and tacking it onto the car, but Audi of America. Still, I agree it's odd. They should either bake it into the...
I got the pricing from my dealership today. I did not get a breakdown of the car's selling price, just a single number. I'm not quite 100% sure what's all is in it. I know the invoice pricing of the car and all the options from the order guide. By subtracting that out, it looks like there is...
Are you sure your PCs only output stereo audio, not multichannel? Can that Monoprice box convert multichannel audio to stereo? Does that device accept the exact same video timings as the receiver? Which device will the PC read the EDID from? When the receiver is off how do you get audio out...
I ordered a few LED bulbs from a ebay seller in China to play around with. I haven't gotten them just yet, but I'm looking forward to testing them out. Assuming they are decent I'll be able to convert my S4 to LEDs for about $39 instead of the $90-130 other vendors want for a kit. To Tuner...
No, they're not. HGST is a wholly own subsidiary of Western Digital. The brand went to WD.
Western Digital divested some IP and equipment to allow Toshiba to jump in and make 3.5" drives. HGST will eventually stop making 3.5" drives.

Interesting article. Hopefully Frankel sold his AOL shares while they were worth something. The sheer stupidity of companies ever ceases to amaze me. Pay a boatload of money for a company or a product and then start screwing with the very characteristics that made it successful. :scratch...
:erm: Sand and dirt particles that are just hovering in the air several feet off the ground waiting to be sucked in and blown at the car? That seems quite unlikely to me.
So I found out today an electric leafblower works pretty well for drying a car after washing it. It definitely cuts down on the amount of toweling necessary. Earplugs are a must though.
These OZ Racing wheels sort of caught my eye after I looked at them for a while. I'm not sure why they had to put so much verbage on the lip of the wheels though.
You're welcome. I'm not sure what I would have done with two of them or if they would have even given me a 2nd one. Besides, I'm just spreading the swag around to my friends. :tgif:
