I'm using the Antec 3U enclosure almost exclusively, and it has room for both the Supermicro SATA hotswap on the right and a standard DVD burner on the left. This is my standard config and I've built over a dozen of them.

I tested my MSI K8T800 board with 3GB of Crucial (DDR400) and it posted, but I'm currently only running 1GB (better overclocking)

Panaflo makes a 120mm fan that is very nice @ 7v. I use acoutstic paneling to cover the vents I don't want.

I can put up a word for the Antec P160 (the version without the window, TYVM). Though the front might be considerd a little flashy, the blue LEDs can be disabled quite easily, and the "fit and finnish" is A+. The case is a dream to work in and has all the things I've grown accustomed to as well...

Considering this involves the replcement of the motherboard, therefore the chipset, therefore the IDE drivers; I'd make sure that you have the latest drivers installed. Did you do a re-install of the OS when you switched? Or did you replace the hardware and let the OS detect the new devices?

Just like to chime in that my DRU-510A doesn't have this probem, either. You might also want to make sure that only one drive is set to maser (and the other slave) on that cable. And of course the important technical questions: Did this work properly at one point? If so, what has changed since...

Well, the server is running Win2k3 Advanced Server anyway. I'm not worried about that either way. My question was, do I need to buy another copy of the game (to get another CD-Key) for the dedicated server? Or can the server be installed with the same CD-Key as one of the clients?

I have quite honestly thought this many times.

I've made sure to have several games that are rated "E", as anyone under 18 will need a parental waiver to play anything else. These include WinChess, URU (sequel to Myst/Riven), Nascar 2004 (including a dedicated server), and Need For Speed: Underground (with a local server hack).

Additional advertising at the movie theatres and word-of-mouth will be enough to...

$5/hr for members, $7/hr for everyone else. Membership is $20 and comes with 3 free hours. Booze is a definate impossibility. I was bearly able to get a permit as it is. Monterey county is downright hostile to new ideas.

Yeah, I realised right after I made the post that it was bad timing. I just finished trying to relocate the server...the T-1 is in, but isn't synching...they should have it licked tomorrow.
