VB is the easiest language to program in. It might not run huge blocks of code as fast as VC++ but it is fine for most windows apps. I wrote DB code in VB all last summer. It is not hard and you can do some pretty complex things with it. It is not restrictive like some other people have...

The SR forums did not really have any rules to speak of. Other than to be civilized, and not to spam. Trolling was not that common, spamming was not that common and a spammers posts can be easily deleted... So I do not really see a reason to have very many rules. OTOH if this forum grows to...

Me too...after Clocker reccommended it I went and downloaded it...I haven't been dissappointed at all. Makes searching for things much faster. What else could MS do to IE? It seems perfect IMHO, it is plenty fast, never crashes, displays every page correctly... I'm sure someone will disagree...

It's only 7.75% in Cook County. But in Chicago (which is a part of Cook County, but adds its own taxes on ) its 8%. Here in Madison it's only 5.5% which is nice. -Tim

I was wondering how everyone feels about having the avatar images enabled. For me they can be somewhat distracting. But I do notice that quite a few people already have them enabled... They do not consume any bandwidth so that is not a concern, but I would like to hear comments on whether...

If you try to post too fast you get an error message. I think the delay is set to 1 minute, but since I type at light speed is there any way that this limitation could be eliminated? -Tim
