    Laptop 7200 price drop:? Why?

I should have been more specific. It seemed like for a year and a half, Hitachi 7200 rpm laptop drives were stuck around 175-200 dollars. Seagates 7200s at 300. All of a sudden, they are nearly half that. I figured someone jumped in producing more, or, perhaps the companies are meeting demand...

Well, it's 55 degrees right now, and, it was a bit chilly. Rather then turn on a heater, I crank up the Athlon 3000, with 850 HIS card, and external venting, along with a couple quiet, but good size 120mm fans, and, a squirrel fan right next to the video card, just in case. I run FAH on it...

    Laptop 7200 price drop:? Why?

Hi Just noticed the prices for 7200 rpm drives are now nearly half, or, in otherwords, worth considering, at this point. Why did it happen, and, any suggestions, market trends, etc.? Thanks Greg

David: I did a bunch of checking, and, most of the reviews find the 1600 half the speed of the 1900, and, about the same half speed of the XL 800-850, which are half the price. WHY???? Also, since you DO tend to overclock, WHY are you going with a passive cooling solution? I just got my 800...

All in one home office printer fax USB copier Laser if possible

Sorry, hit the wrong key. Anyway, he uses the printer a bit, copier more, and fax not a ton. I thought laser printers are the way to go, but, after checking on Canons MF 5750, and paying 40 bucks, for something absurd like 2500 pages, I'm not convinced. What combination has the best page per...

Quick story. Doing 130 in my funny car, down highway one, outside of Carmel, going to LA, at about 3 am. Nearly hit a Porsche 930 doing the same. After that, with about a 300 foot drop, on the right side of the road, I see a flasher, something about road dropping off 10 inches, and I'm by it...
