It is a dinosaur, considering my Tyan K8W motherboard (which is 5.5yrs old) has the Sil3114 controller on board for SATA connectivity. (The 3114 is the 4port version of the 3112).

If you're a Windows only shop, and I shudder as I say this... but have you tried Sharepoint? It has decent integration with Office applications, and you can host it all you self, and there is a very large 3rd-party add-on community. But if you want an FOSS solution (that works like...

They're pretty much the same. From what I've read, some SATA drives just don't like being connected via a port expander/multiplier. So was interested in your case.

PC Gaming = World of Suck

IIRC, I read somewhere that comparing the result of using gcc to build 32bit x86 code vs 64bit x86 code, the 64bit code was in general 10%-15% larger than the 32bit code. This was mainly to do with the larger pointer sizes for absolute pointers (most 64bit x86 code still uses 32bit addressing...

Short answer, you download it... (same as Office 2007 OEM PKC) http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try/try-office-2010-FX101868838.aspx?WT.mc_id=MiG_HomePage Or as an OEM, you can get the OEM media kit, which you are meant to copy/install onto the PC before shipping to the client.
