Sector-wise image works perfectly. No suprise there. Symantec support suggest that the master file table was to fragmented, which it isn't.

PowerDVD uses the DirectShow filters, just like WiMP does. Otherwise it wouldn't be able to play them at all.

I've watched a few, and found that I didn't have any problems playing the 1080p clips on my Athlon XP 2200+ when I used PowerDVD (instead of WiMP) and ran them at full screen. To be honest, I can't tell the difference between the two resolutions on my setup.

Ghost has been a Symantec product for at least 5 years. If you guys are using a pre-Symantec version, that may explain the issues.... I've tried DriveImage; all it does is mangle my NTFS partitions.
