Antec = No I had a TruePower PSU a few years ago and its 12v rail pooped out on me. Turns out that it was a known issue with the line -- but Antec wasn't doing anything about it. I'm not buying one of their PSUs again. That's way too much anyway....

Those are adapter cables Bozo. There are extremely fine reasons for actually running the additional wires from the power supply, and I agree with them. I won't get a PSU without the appropriate connectors.

According to several of the reviews that I've looked at thus far, the PowerStream is manufactured by the same company that makes the Tagan supply. The two models obviously aren't identical, but a lot of the ~$35 difference appears to be bells and whistles which I don't need.

The problem was some unfortunate interaction between ZIP builds and installer builds. Generally, people are going to stick with one or the other -- and obviously, that was the hole in their testing. The issue appears to have been fixed almost immediately and updated versions are out.

One of the service packs fixes this. I think it's SP1.

What version did you install? There's a bug with installing ZIP builds over installer builds, causing a crash when you try to enter URLs or use the search widget. I believe that it's been fixed already, tho'.
