    Common Windows shortcuts.

Win-break brings up the System Properties...cool shortcut NRG!!! I use a ton of Photoshop shortcuts---too many to list!!! But my favorite is "[" and "]" to change brush sizes, and "Shift-[" and "Shift-]" to change brush density.

    Beverages

Two strikes against me: I love tea (be sure to note the lower case) and I have a cat. :) Probably my very favorite beer (on the occasion that I drink one). Has a very nice flavor and goes down like soda pop.

    Vacuum Tube Motherboard?

I worked in graphic design and art direction for the marketing department of a bakery here in Tennessee. We utilized several high-end digital photographers to shoot various images for our printed materials. The image quality was amazing, but we're talking about $100,000+ cameras. Most of the...

I've got a Pinnacle Systems PCTV Vision card installed on one of my machines at home. It's pretty nice--came with a remote and a serial IR receiver, too. I've got it set up to control Winamp as well as some other applications...anyway, here's how I've run my cable: I've got cable Internet...

Can you switch to topo view, like Terraserver? I'd be interested as a I do quite a lot of backpacking/mountain biking. It would be cool to map things this way. I currently have a DeLorme mapping program, but the interfact is nothing like what you are describing. It would also be a good...

    Getting a life

Quite true...there are bars that are a nice relaxing place to be...Cliptin and I have been to one in his neck of the woods that is very laid back, serves excellent food at a fair price, and the sound level is more or less the din of other patrons' conversations. If I do frequent a bar, this is...

    A question for all....

Several years ago, I was on the receiving end of an affair (my ex-wife met a local man in a chat room called "married and flirting.") I completely disapprove of it (albeit I am biased) on the grounds that it is destructive not only to the relationship, but also emotionally destructive to the...

    Getting a life

A woman that is interested in a nice, quiet chat is most desireable to me, anyway...I never have understood the whole "picking up girls" routine. A woman willing to be picked up at a bar is NOT the type of person I want to meet, nor have any of the women I've dated been this type of person...

    Getting a life

Good point. There's no rule that says you HAVE to have a drink at a bar...and it can be quite expensive. If you want to try something pretty tasty and not terribly potent, and if you like coffee...try an Irish coffee (Bailey's and coffee blended).

I agree...I've only played the demo (single mission & multiplayer)...not very realistic, but a whole heck of a lot of fun...especially blowing each other out of the sky in multiplayer! Thumbs up on arcade playability...you'll be disappointed if you expect a full-on helicopter simulator.

Prof, I have done extensive backpacking here in the U.S. (Maine, Georgia, Tennesee, Virginia, North Carolina) and have rarely seen firearms carried by other backpackers. Most of the friends that I backpack with would not even consider carrying a firearm. It's just not necessary. In the...

    I need a drink

I was divorced about three years ago, after my ex started seeing someone else behind my back. Ah yes, the elusive "staying in shape." I've found that more time behind a desk and older age have made it much more difficult to achieve this end. I fight the battle by paddling in my kayak, bicycling, hiking, and swimming. I sometimes run, but it is definitely not my most favorite activity...
