i used to be a quite a drinker until i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at the start of this year and had to give it all up :( the reality is that it's a good thing i had to give up alcohol as i drank way to much.
mostly i drank bourbon and more often than not jack daniels. it's a fine...
the Japanese in Tokyo are still trying to squeeze people inside their trains. bet they haven't thought of stacking them on the outside like in Tannins postcard. obviously the japanese have much to learn from Tannin.
hos are the team score calculated? i seem to be shurning out the w/u's however my team score is well below others of lesser w/u's. does it depend on the type of w/u processed, time take to process, etc?
hmm. i think only those who have posted a picture of themselves should have the right to have fun with other peoples pics.
/me looks at koggit :P c'mon show us a picture lad.
there i was last night, with my lovely wife, just sitting down to relax after settling baby Seth for the night and Kirsty puts on a dvd called 'rat race' ... starring wayne knight. funnily enough, everytime i saw wayne i was actually imagining the image of merc that i have in my head and...
fair enough, you are the best judge of what's good for you.
having fond memories though does not mean one is living in the past though. trying to shut them out is not that easily merc. of course at the moment whenever you think of your sitution it hurts but the beauty of fond memories is that...
every cpu counts :)
how often does the assignment server have problems? i have a few machines here that are can connect but aren't receiving any work and have been trying for over 2 hours. i've seen this a few times over the last 2 days.
my thought too are with mercutio and vlad. you will never forget the loss but be mindful that the pain does subside. after a while you have only the best and most fond of memories which are yours to cherish forever.
thanks for you suggestions guys. i had MIS work the problem and the issue was found at our end, in our proxy.
this is what i like to see - four P3-700 XEON's hard at work :)
according to the keirsey website:
guardians (SJ) = 40-45%
artisans (SP) = 35-40%
idealists (NF) = 8-10%
rationals (NT) = 5-7%
it will be interesting to see the distribution of temperaments on this forum. of course there won't be enough members participating for us to be able to conclude...
i can tell it to use my usr & pwd but it's not accepting it. it sees the proxy but won't authenticate. i've treid many variations of usr/pwd.
good suggestions clocker. unfortunately none are the cause. it could be a timing issue caused by an incompatabilioty with either the cpu, chipset or ram...
rumours are rife that EMC is planning a bid on Quest Software, whom i work for. might be interesting, i might even get to play with some serious storage solutions. check out www.emc.com.
the problem isn't finding the proxy, it's that our proxy requires separate authentication and the console version doesn't appear to support that. i tried editing the client.cfg file but it didn’t work. maybe i can't get the syntax right although the client.cfg file for the graphical and console...
there's plenty or miltary combat type games and i'd say it's likely that this was spwaned as a result of the game operation flashpoint. i'd be very suprised to learn that 11/9 spawned this game as conception>development for a game such as this would have taken longer than just 9 months.
does...
the console version really needs some work imho. it locks up my win XP athlon XP2000+ machine and it can't handle proxies that require authentication so all the F@H's i'm running are the graphical version.
nice to meet you fushi :)
thanks, you reminded me of something i wanted to mention before. i too am a little slimmer now compared to photo's 1 and 2 that i put up for show. i've lost 40lbs since february...

ok, now i've done a few w/u's for team 10047 now yet i'm not showing up on the list. what does a dog have to do to be shown folding around here?
i was going to mention private ryan but the oping scene is actually the old man in the cemetary....
private ryan ranks as my #1 in best second scene in a movie
natural born killers is bloody good yes.
my nominations:
- reservoir dogs (if that qualifies as an action movie)
- the...
haha. you bet i do. if all else fails, there's always a fry's not too far away (on the west coast anyway). tokyo is easy too, the 2 miles of akihabara pretty much stumble across you before you get to it.
clearly a sign that you need a massive upgrade :P
hmmm lets see...
108. When you upgade your CPU because you fear basic windows animation effects are usuing too many of your valuable clock cycles.
lol. top stuff guys :)
- i'm guilty of having stepped in a few times but only when the customer is being whitewashed by a dodgy salesperson - i can't stand dishonesty or ignorant salepeople.
being that James promised said high speed internet, i'd like to recommend that James purchase some of the MCI backbone which will undoubtedly for sale soon. yay for gratuitous bandwidth.
