your's doesn't sound too bad blakerwry. a significant portion of my salary is taxed at 47%. everything I buy and can't claim tax exemption on (believe me, it's not much), I pay a minimum of 10% tax on. essential item like petrol (gas) are taxed at 47.2%. I could go on but it's depressing me :(
