    Remarked Duron processor

The last Duron 1.6GHz I bought looks suspicious to me. I remember a news not too long ago about remarked Duron CPUs. Could someone please tell me where to find pictures comparing a fake and a legitimate Duron 1.6GHz? There are obvious signs of thermal paste on the core and the characters on...

[NEWS] - 4MB L3 Xeon coming this quarter

Intel will come out with 4MB L3 Xeon processors this quarter, according to this old news item from the Inquirer. The price will probably be sky-high. I hope AMD follows, as these increasing cache sizes usually give a nice boost to DB servers etc. News source Submitted by The_JoJo

    Another PayPal question...

To pay the auction I won this evening, I planned to use PayPal and pay from my banking account. Problem is : I forgot to confirm my banking account to PayPal earlier. The confirmation is supposed to take 2 or 3 business days and that delay will surely piss the seller. Last time I used PayPal...

I need a shipper within the States.

I have a slight problem. I was interested in a cheap LVD SCSI controller on eBay, but the seller wrote that he would only ship in the U.S. (narrow minded I guess). But, surprisingly, no one seemed interested in his controller. With only seconds to go (9, to be precise - I remember the auction...

While I don't think the latest iPod is an item of great interest among our membership, I'll give Apple its minute of glory on our front page since I rarely pay attention to them. BTW, did the original Mac has really been released only 20 years ago? That was written in the newspaper here this...
