    Alternative Browser

Which is the best alternative to IE? I am looking for one that allows blocking of Flash and installation, pop-ups, embedded images from other sites, etc. The main thing is that I want to enable and disable these features without too much effort, since some sites require them. Thank you.

    Buffer Empty

When an external 8x8x24 CD-R/W is limited to the USB 1.1 connection, the fastest speed for perfect burns is 4x. However it will burns data CDs at an average speed of ~6x with JustinLink activated. I verified one of the CDs and there were no CRC errors. Is it OK for the CD burner to...

    PS/2 Port

Does anyone use a notebook PS/2 port as a 5V power supply for other devices? PS/2 devices seem to be spec'd at 100 mA, but the port clearly supplies more than that. For example, there are PS/2 taps for 2.5" USB/Firewire drives. What is the maximum allowable current drain? Is there a standard...

    Testing Audio CD Player

Last year I purchased a new auto with the fancy 6-CD player (where do those CDs go after entering the slot?). I have not used the CD player yet so there is a possibly of a defect. This may sound foolish, but is there an easy way to use a PC to create 6 CDs with multiple audio tracks? I would...
