But APPLE MAPS WIN IN THE ONE PLACE THEY’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO

I have found the built in (to the EFI BIOS) disk assistant on mac to be quite good, handy to always have a disk/partition manager outside of the OS. HFS+ on mac not so great though.
The work machine is locked down on a VPN and RDP/VNC won't help here. This is one of the machines I experimented with vsphere converter on, which worked well but I am sure IT would flip their lid if they found out I bypassed their full disk encryption and copied the whole computer proprietary...
A Note 2 review. I had lots of trouble believing some of their conclusions based on data presented but they have pictures.

Screen appears to be closer to white than pentile screens but not as good as decent LCD. I know...
Seafoam is liquid magic if you have carburetors, especially if they are on bikes that get stored half the year. Technically you should drain the carbs before putting it in storage but people never do, so a powerful cleaner helps a ton.
Some MAF sensors are just more sensitive and the K&N...
I'm using the iPad less now that I have a phone with a descent size screen, about every other day for web browsing and email. It's also my backup offline GPS at the moment but not for much longer. i might not have a tablet for much longer. Thing is when traveling it's a different story, it's...
I wasn't previously aware of this but if you search for "android car stereo double din" there are plenty of options for an android head unit. Yes all more expensive than a nexus but they are at least designed for the job. One even had an extra screen in the rearview mirror. Personally I am past...
There are some in dash EQ units that have amplification built in you might use. Otherwise you will have to go with a regular 4 channel car stereo amplifier and rely on the volume control built in to the tablet and hope you can get that to an appropriate range then use the input level adjustment...
That reminds me a real problem I see with android is once you change the dialer, default browser, home screen app etc there is no entry in settings to change them back. You have to rely on some other thing to change the setting.
I made sure I had IPMI2 on my little home media server so I could have this and I can't see why IT people wouldn't make this mandatory in everything they get. Almost life changing the first time you configure the BIOS and load an OS remotely on real hardware. With the one I have as long as you...
The key was with certain editions of win 7 they included the legit XP pro license to use in the VM.
Stardock is smart to offer that, they are in a position to make some serious money. No way that thing is staying free.
News agencies do seem to have a real problem figuring out what bit of the software on the device has the problem, they always just say device tested X confirmed to be a problem. I don't really see it as a big deal, people know what device they have, not what bit of software they have. Only the...
My god what a bad quote, you don't aim for number three in this field.

Mine doesn't have corporate either, does have "Exchange Active Sync" listed. Do you have that? Maybe just a little mixup in their instructions.
Should be able to do the same thing by going into the stock email app, adding an account and choosing manual setup. That shows the Exchange Active...
I don't have a "corporate" button on my note with 4.0.4. Stock mail app has POP3, IMAP, and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. That last one what you don't have?
Now this is really interesting.

Comments on this are pretty funny. You shouldn't read this page on a Samsung device though.

Likely this can help you.

I used it a couple times. Need to set the drives to SCSI, don't let them stay at the default or it won't boot. I had a thread on that somewhere.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Samsung app thing to get it working, the uninstall wasn't blocked by the way which is nice. Anyway the navigon is in there, for &49.95. I'll wait for TomTom.
Ah I remember this thing. Launching samsung apps takes you to the play store where you can chose uninstall or open, selecting open reopens the play store where you can select uninstall or open...
It never worked for me.
He fixed apex within a couple hours so I suppose its OK. I don't like the stock launcher at all and when I researched apex seemed one of the more popular ones. I have nothing to compare it to, it gave me everything I was looking for and more.
I'll look into the navigon thing on my note, I...
I very much understand but in contrast Apex just rendered everyones phone unusable today and still has an over 4 rating even after pages of one star home screen launcher crashing reviews. This thing getting a low 3 something is a red flag.
XKCD to the rescue:

I did a warranty exchange on my Nexus purchased through the play store. Within 15 days you can do an advanced exchange which I did. Google support was pretty bad to deal with because of high call rates in getting the tablets out at that time. But after understanding the situation they just pass...
TomTom is coming to Android in October. This makes me really happy, google maps were very good where you have data coverage but my last trip where I needed nav between Savannah and Atlanta didn't work out too well. Also the google "offline" maps have failed me several times in Boston. I held off...
As I look at this I am reminded there seems to be a reason why the prices are much higher at Verizon.

For filters I prefer anything that isn't Fram, though I will do them for air or cabin air filter when I have no other choice. Purolator/Napa filters seem to be the most reasonable in price and availability. Those mobile 1 and K&N are a bit of a waste IMO. K&N in the wrong car can destroy MAF...
You can auto start in the VM properties for each machine I believe, I know I have seen the option in there.
As for the backups, snapshots? Not sure if those can be done on live machines or if it is enough.
Don't know about usage, I would connect to each.
Did a search and maybe this?

This after they TOOK AWAY the ability to put settings shortcut buttons on the home screen. That really annoyed me as it was a good solution, people could have whatever they wanted.
The more these outages occur the better I think it is to have full mail support on the handset. I'm fairly happy with K-9 now that has full IMAP support including IDLE notifications, something I really missed all the time I was on iphone...
