    Seagate Cheetah 36LP

This is a used drive. 36GB, 10,000RPM, 80-PIN SCA w/68-pin adapter, U160 SCSI. It is an IBM branded Seagate 36LP. Seagate model # is: ST336704LC IBM part # is: 9N7006-055. Drive works perfectly, no bad sectors, no problems at all. I am not sure if there is any IBM warranty left. The IBM...

    100 Posts per page?

How many posts does everyone think should be displayed by default? I think 50 is somewhat limiting. 100 would suit me fine. Some on dialup might think that displaying that many posts by default would slow things down too much. I doubt bandwidth would be an issue at this point. Considering...

What's the point of quiet drives when you have a Cheetah?

http://rinkworks.com/dialect/ Check this site out. It will translate a webpage or text to lots of different dialects. I especially like the Redneck, Jive, & Hacker. I've seen these before, but this one did a pretty good job.

    Problems Degragmenting with O&O

I have been using O&O for defragmenting my drives for at least a year and have had no problems with it. But all the drives that I was defragging were fat32. When I try to defrag an NTFS drive it says Insufficient Rights and will not even analyze the drive. If anyone has any idea that would be...

    Avatar Images

I was wondering how everyone feels about having the avatar images enabled. For me they can be somewhat distracting. But I do notice that quite a few people already have them enabled... They do not consume any bandwidth so that is not a concern, but I would like to hear comments on whether...

I think the private messages are a good thing and I hope that they don't get disabled when this forum is at its final stage... -Tim

    Delay with message posting

If you try to post too fast you get an error message. I think the delay is set to 1 minute, but since I type at light speed is there any way that this limitation could be eliminated? -Tim
