It Professional's role in preventing piracy

Thats a worry Tony. I had presumed that you and other retailers (as opposed to big OEMS like DELL and HP) would/should be given a profit margin for software sales. Man, I am respecting you more for surviving so long in this cut throat business just by selling hardware :mrgrn:

    interesting people you've met

I met the crown prince of Japan and his wife when they came for an official visit to the hospital I am working at. One thing I noticed during this visit is the contrast between the Australian and Japanese security/bodyguards. The Australians were like thugs/goons (big, burly, surly and mean...

    An open letter to Hewlett-Packard

Thats what my hospital IT Support friend said also. He absolutely hates trying to fix HP printers made after the LaserJet 4 series; too much cheap and easily broken components he said. I still have a LaserJet 4MV in my office and it has not broken down even once; built like a tank and weighs...

    Question about new system setup

I just got an ATI 9500Pro and I must say its 2D quality is much better compared to my nVidia card. Playing Comand&Conquer Generals at 1600X1200, the nuclear explosion scenes lags my 9500Pro. Maybe a 9700 is better  No wonder the gamebox wrote recommended minimum of GeForce4. Cheers, Edward
