Hey, I almost forgot how it looked back then. Strangely, I remember the look in the first picture, but not the one in the second, although I've started to visit SR around April 99 and more often since ~August 99.

Good old memories.

A trip down memory lane! Thanks, Handruin. IIRC, that was in the days of the Maxtor Plus 2500; I bought one, my first 7200 RPM drive, after reading SR's review, and it is still running in one of my machines (my daughter's edutainment PC?).

Coug, IIRC, the second look had a fairly short life, maybe that's why you don't remember it.

That archive is amazing. I checked all my favorites sites even back in 1997. Pretty cool to see how they become richer and richer!

Of course, Flash-haters and Mercutios don't always see this as evolution, right? :roll:
