The Birth of a sales pitch

Hey all, just was flippin channels this week and came across this Discovery channel special entitled "Birth of a Salespitch". It talks about the history of sales pitching starting with the "boardwalk" pitch, onto commercials, and then to infomercials.

Anyway, i thought it'd be interesting so I recorded it.

DIVX 5.03 w/ mp3 audio (complete version)

I had more success with GDivX 1.9.9.2 than with DivX 5.03. Lower CPU util. %, so crashed less often (like in "didn't crashed at all") on an humble Athlon classic. I'm just writing this in case you would like to try.

have you ever used ffdshow? it's a direct show filter for DIVX, MS MPG4, and Xvid... I've noticed dramatic CPU usage drops when using it.. plus it has many more picture quality enhancing features than DIVX.... you should give it a try.. it's on sourceforge...

Nope, never tried. I will next time I have a DivX to see.
