That looks like a nice card. If I was willing to spend the money I'd have to also buy that many drives or I'd feel like I was cheating myself. If it were the 8 or 4 port I'd probably consider it (cheaper price of course).

That is my problem as well. Considering I'm using 750GB drives these days (the smallest I have is 500GB), there is no way I need 16 drives worth of storage! None of my clients even have needs on that scale.
