Microsoft Storage Spaces vs. RAID Level

Well it's been plugged in (with a branded Lenovo DP to VGA adapter - I'm not going to have access to displayport-anything in my datacenter) for the last six hours. I'm actually a bit more concerned that I don't get video off a PCIe video card, but I can't hazard a guess what the firmware thinks...

The headmounted cam gives everything a "video game" feel. I was entirely willing to believe I was watching a game rather than filmed entertainment. It's not as loud as I thought it would be but it's definitely not quiet once the fans start. It is by far the least loud 1U server I've worked with. It's also a lower pitched noise, not nearly so aggravating as the SuperMicro/Intel stuff I usually deal with. Bigger problem right now is that...

Adblock Plus "Malware Domains" filter sub breaks YouTube

As far as I'm concerned, if it can't have the Malware Domains block list installed, it's not worth using in the first place. I think most Adblock Plus-type extensions usually check at browser start. I'm not sure if they check more often than that.

question I need a CMS for company internal documents and procedures: Recommendations?

I deal with Sharepoint for a few customers. It's not bad, but when people have it, it's just like Exchange and they want to use it for everything, which causes me headaches. I've also discovered that it's easier to fix Sharepoint crap by recovering from backups than trying to figure out what's...

How do I fix ALL of these file names ?

timwht's answer is really the right way to learn how to deal with munged file names. Telling a top-level folder to do that for dozens...

Microsoft Storage Spaces vs. RAID Level

Down sides: the RD550 doesn't have an internal NIC. The Ethernet port is for management... and that unit also doesn't have the KVM over IP module included. It's not quite that straightforward, since the SSD(s) aren't quite just memory cache sitting in top of the array like you might think.
