    i agree. That is why I run IIS 3.0 on my NT server. All the bugs that are going to be found probably have been found... it's not very hard to secure... and once I set it up correctly I won't have to worry about updating my server on a day-to-day basis.

    well, ok... I won't be dissapointed if I cant get apache to listen on all open ports... it's not really needed.... I can get it to listen on port 80, 100, 433 which is plenty for now.... But, I would appreciate some help setting up virtualhosts. They will be running on port 100 for now...

    Those 7200 RPM units are going to be way outside most users' budgets... laptop hdd's are gaining everyday I check... access times are lowering, data density is increasing.. and power consumption is still staying at reletively low levels.... it's amazing.
