No, don't. See the user comment on this page. On top of that, the "open page in background" and "open in new window" right-click-menu functions are broken in 7.02----(They work fine in 7.01)

I used an 800JB in the PC I built my father. If I could do it over again I would use a Seagate ATA IV ( a V if they were available). The 800JB has too loud an idle. Fortunately it doesn't bother him any.

A blurb posted at hardocp makes mention of this possibility...They have a blueprint of the motherboard posted. It has some interesting features, to say the least.

Thermal pads are a poor substitute for quality thermal grease. They don't have nearly the heat transfer ability. A large syringe of Arctic Silver 3 is enough to do dozens of CPU's and you could be reassured that you are getting the best possible heat transfer from CPU-to-heatsink. AS3 is also...

XP worked great with my USR 5610B. Never any problems. I like to request that a moderator washes Tea's mouth out with soap. I wish I had an answer for your dilemma, Merc, but I don't. Are the modems you mentioned external models?

It so happens that today I ran across a small utility that is supposed to flush all traces of video card drivers from one's PC. The utility works on both ATI and Nvidia video drivers and on all Windows OS'es from 95 to XP. http://www.nvnews.net/index.shtml#1045610680...

This might work: Get TweakUI installed on the machine In TweakUI go: My Computer>>>Drives. Uncheck the box next to "C:", Click OK, and reboot. After rebooting, go back into the same place in TweakUI, check the box next to "C:", click OK, and reboot again. Cross your fingers.
