Guten tag Buck! I'm quite glad that you didn't have storageforum as a link under your computer section. I hope I don't sound too "elitist" (or plain stupid), but I'm glad I can count on this small forum to have a very high standard of quality and people. (No, I don't count myself to be part of...

Hi! Sorry for the lack of updates to this thread (don't know if anyone expected any but anyways...:) ). My SBLive is working very well, but the Realmagic Hollywood+ card has been a bit of a problem. When installing the drivers I get some unresolved symbols and that's that. I'm just waiting for...

    Video Cards - Your Thoughts

I've only had good experiences with cards from Asus,Gainward,Hercules and Elsa that are based on Nvidia Geforce XXX chipsets. Bundled with Nvidia reference drivers they haven't given me any problems with about 30 systems built. Sorry I can't be more specific. :) Hope this helps.

    Anyone got XP1800+ Benchmarks?

I can't change my sig for some reason (changes aren't saved). So the above sig is not accurate. Using a7v266-e, xp 1800 1533@1610 (140 bus speed), kingston 2*256 ddr266 and the rest is the same as in the sig, windows and linux on the x15-36lp.

Unable to change sig in profile

This is embarassing, but I can't change my sig. Meaning, I change the contents of my sig and press the submit button, and it loads the page again (with my new sig). Even if I give my password (password change went ok) the same thing happens. No message about profile being updated, and it isn't...

Ok, I tried out the up2date program that comes with redhat. It requires that you register with redhat.com. Hi Flagreen. The article and everything else about it seems a lite vague to me... Better to wait for some more information. Unless the processor is clock throttling, I can't see why there would be any fault in it. So I think you are right, must be something else hindering performance...
