Random thought; on forums the large link with the thread title takes you to the first post but you have to click on the small numbers to get to the last page. Doesn't that behavior sound backwards? For switches with more than two ports you have to hit a scroll lock twice and then the number of the port that you want to select. You go straight to the one you want. Unless you are referring to auto scroll which I don't use but I would assume it would skip the unused ports.

How much room does the file server really need? I like the mirror with the OS on it and backup drive, this helps uptime if one fails. We have a lot of servers like that. But if your cheap and don't care about up time the one drive for OS and data + a backup target drive works.

It's a memory speed setting could be just a multiplier number. The goal is to get it down to 166MHz if it is running higher than that. The first setting you listed in the code comment.
