hi all,

I have for sale a Kramer FC-19 RGB decoder (Note: this is a NTSC specific model). The unit is branded as a "Comprehensive CVG-19" however Comprehensive's re-branding extends as far silk-screening their label on the front fascia and it is otherwise 100% a Kramer product :thumbleft: I have been using this decoder to get the best out of my JVC NTSC S-VHS VCR. Results were great however I have a new S-VHS VCR coming and I no longer need this decoder.

Probably the best non-commercial use for this decoder is would be for our US resident forum members who may want to to utilise a RGB input of a projector or Euro TV.

Details:
The KRAMER FC-19 is an industrial level RGB Decoder, which converts both Composite Video and Super-Video to their RGB components. An HD15 VGA type connector is provided on the back panel of the machine, with signal pinout conforming to the standard VGA connector.

No scan conversion is performed in the machine, therefore, this connector can only be used with monitors capable of running at 15 kHz horizontal scan rates. The output signals are available simultaneously on the BNC connectors and on the HD15 connector and may be used independently.

Product blurb:
Typical Applications

* Interfacing between a Super-Video (YC) source and a TV or projector with RGBs input capabilities for excellent quality RGB video display.
* Display of Composite Video or s-Video on wide screen displays, which accept RGBs inputs, for best quality.
* Chroma key generation from a Composite or Super-Video source, eliminating the need for a three-tube camera.
* Viewing Composite or Super-Video on a PC multiscan monitor capable of operating at 15 kHz horizontal scan frequency.

Recently discontinued, this item's list price was US$450. Selling for AU$100*/US$75 o.n.o.

* Unit requires 110V. I can supply a power converter for $80 however DSE sell suitable converters for $45.

Cheers,

Tim

I'm not surprised at the overwhelming interest this sale has generated :p Despite this, an offer around the AU$76/US$60 would see it sell sooner.

I'm confused about you resurfacing a 7 year old thread to post a pinout?
