    Need a Wireless

Yup. You plug it into your router/hub/switch like another computer. You then connect to it and configure it using some software that goes on your computer. The cool part is that if you really want good coverage you can install more than one of them in different parts of your house and configure...

    question Good SATA card?

Even larger HDDs can saturate the real-world speed of a PCI card...I would only go that way if I had no choice.

    Need a Wireless

A full new router or just a wireless access point? The most cost effective solution would be to leave your current router running as-is, possibly disabling the wireless, and put in a dedicated AP. This one is my favorite, and I guarantee it is more powerful, capable, and cheaper than a new...

Still negotiating on the windshield and sunroofs, but doing all the doors and everything behind them in Blue AIR 80 would be $650 from a very reputable shop with a lifetime warranty.

As do I. I got a standard finish, so the odds are better. Considering your predicament, I would be considering the more expensive wheels.

My wheels are "at the finisher" and should be ready "next week". Only a week after initial ETA; not that bad.

When I bought my car, they made me sign an additional document indicating that I had read and understood the requirements for a front license plate in CA, then asked me if I wanted the front license plate holder installed or no. Nice of them to ask, but I want to choose when my car is breaking...

I can't get away with not having a front plate; it is required by law in CA and city parking enforcement is starting to issue tickets for it. IIRC, Michigan doesn't require one.

I found a shop in town that is a certified installer. What are you estimating a full round of Blue Air 80 to cost? I assume you plan on doing all 9 panes of glass?
  19. ddrueding

    The storageforum Audi S4 Thread

Interesting. I wonder if it is partially due to the mechanicals being partially visible and attached directly to the glass? At the very least this might make it difficult enough for some shops to think up reasons to try and get out of it.

This I am very interested in. At the moment I have a very light factory tint on the two sun/moonroof and clear glass everywhere else. CA is pretty restrictive on tints, but I do want to do something before the summer really heats up.

Many of our vertical-market programs still won't work with anything beyond XP. I've already informed the vendors that if they don't have it resolved this year I'll be going to someone else. problem Performance / Delays

Mine has been noticeably slower since the forum software upgrade. On a fast connection it is only a fraction of a second, but on my phone or on my super saturated link at work it can take 35 seconds for a forum to come up. The bigger delay at work is trying to use the quick reply box at the...

Nichia Develops 60 Lumen Per Watt White LED

Another thing to think about is that MFLs hate power cycling. They will kill the bulb faster than leaving it on in many instances. LEDs don't care.

    Firefox 11.0 is out.

At one place I used to work I was able to come to an agreement.
